Single Hammock

The Hummingbird Hammocks Ultralight Single Hammock is the lightest weight and smallest packing hammock on the market. Designed by a Parachute Rigger, it brings parachute technology to the hammock industry for the first time. Weighing less than a lemon and packing smaller than a coffee cup, this hammock can hold up to 300 pounds.

The Button Link attachment system, which contains no bulky or heavy metal parts, can be compressed into a small pack and is as easy to assemble as buttoning your pants. This hammock is so light and tiny when packed that you'll feel strange not bringing one everywhere you go.

Constructed with actual parachute fabric, this hammock has a minimum tensile strength of 50 lbs per square inch, ensuring a comfortable and secure resting experience. The Button Links feature 1500 lb Spectra cord, a custom designed 3D printed button, and extremely simple assembly, resulting in a hammock with no bulky, heavy metal parts. The Spectra cord, stronger than steel and far lighter, is the ideal cordage for the Tree Straps and Button Links, contributing to the hammock's extremely light weight and small pack size.

The end loops of the hammock are attached using a larks head knot, which transfers the stress of hanging to the fabric rather than the stitching, resulting in a more reliable and longer-lasting hammock system. All the products are lock stitched (stitch type 301) using mil-spec bonded nylon thread, and the seams are double stitched at 7-11 stitches per inch in accordance with FAA parachute rigging standards.

To avoid adding unnecessary weight and bulk for the sake of branding, the Hummingbird Hammocks use dye sublimation, a fabric printing process that relies on special ink that turns directly from a solid into a gas, permanently dyeing the fabric with bright, full-color graphics.

Made in the US, the Hummingbird Hammocks Ultralight Single Hammock is PIA-C-44378 T4 Certified Reserve Parachute Fabric, built to FAA parachute rigging standards, and extremely lightweight with a very low pack volume.
